I plan on using the AI summary at the end of my courses moving forward. The AI feature makes it easier to edit the summary and change the tone of the course before the next lesson. Where did the AI course draft generation add the most value to the course-building workflow, and where did you need to step in with your own expertise? The most value was in the development and flow of the lessons. I found that I needed to step in to create more interactive blocks and generate additional images.

https://share.articulate.com/wuhVlNGqCDx6Xn4bQfWIU I definitely plan to use the Hook Strategy concept as I found this to be a super easy and impactful way to make my content stand out right from the beginning. I also enjoyed employing the fact that I could change the tone of that hook as well as make it shorter. I even played around with adding jokes in the hook and I was impressed how well that turned out. Where this course added the most benefit to my flow was a general understanding of how much I can now do in Rise, that I was previously manually creating. I appreciated the ease of being able to create a consistent feel, flow, voice and tone/mood of the course when using the AI generation tools. The AI-image generation and the ability to keep my content consistent with the tools was a fabulous gain for me. I did not really find that I needed to step in with my own experience for this cohort as I was engaged and plugged into what was being presented. I can see myself employing a lot of these concepts and then digging into what else I can achieve by using my own creation skills and ingenuity combined with what the AI-generation tools will offer me as a content creator. Thanks so much! Yeah, I'm a songwriter as well and out of place living in CT, haha, but I wanted to have some fun with the exercises. Absolutely, here is the prompt I used. For the first lesson, I believe I used the "Description" that was recommended for the lesson which was: " "As a new manager, your ability to foster happiness and fulfillment within your team is a powerful driver of success. In this lesson, we’ll explore what truly makes teams feel valued, engaged, and motivated at work. You’ll discover why happiness and fulfillment matter—not just for individuals, but for the entire organization—and how you can lay the groundwork for a thriving, resilient team environment." Then I used a Custom style with the following prompt: "western, country, mountain, old west, sunny, tumbleweeds, warm and dusty" Then in lesson two, I changed the description up a bit and used "In this lesson, you will gain valuable skills and insights to help your team flourish by linking their work to a deeper sense of purpose. Diverse team gaining valuable skills on the farm or on a ranch" - while using the same prompt from above without changing it. I liked how the AI assistant kept the same look and feel as the learning content suggested it would do. I did the same for lessons 3 and 4 where I changed the description up a bit but always used the same Custom Style and the same prompt.

What’s one AI technique you learned in the Week 2 Guided Practice Activity that you plan to apply right away in your current projects?
Like several others, I liked the "Open with Hook" prompt to immediately grab the learner's attention. I played around with the length, tone and reading level of that feature as well.

Where did the AI course draft generation add the most value to the course-building workflow, and where did you need to step in with your own expertise?
I recently used the AI features to create a course and found it really helpful to start with as a brainstorming partner. Before this course I rewrote sections on my own, but I learned how to iterate items with the simplify writing, make shorter, make longer and change tone tools. Also, being able to change formats and block styles with the convert feature is great. I usually have to step in to cut back text. I think the auto-generation tends to be wordy and create extra summary blocks that aren't always necessary.

I'd love to see some AI assist around scenario creation - specifically taking a block of text and turning it into a scenario. This would be great if it could be combined with the AI image generation to keep the overall look/feel the same throughout.

The assistant was so great for text updates (font, bolding, etc.). I also really enjoyed changing and updating and trying different styles of images throughout the content.

Really impressed with the image generation feature. I can always fine‑tune later, but I can see this saving me a huge amount of time.

The draft generation feature was super helpful. It gave me a solid starting point, and then I could easily jump back in and add or remove lessons without overthinking anything. It made the whole process feel way more manageable. It also helped me see which supporting documents I might need, so now I have a better idea of what to ask SMEs for.
