Welcome & Introductions

Hi everyone! I’m Melissa Priebe, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and I work in Professional Services at Thomson Reuters as a Learning Experience Designer. Day to day, I design and build learning experiences that help people do their jobs better—partnering with stakeholders, translating complex information into clear, engaging learning, and continuously iterating based on feedback and outcomes.

I joined this Certification Cohort to sharpen my skills, learn from others doing similar work, and bring more intention and rigor to how I design and measure learning experiences. I’m hoping to walk away with practical tools, new perspectives, and a strong community I can continue learning alongside.

Outside of work, I share my home (and my desk) with my three cats, Bowie (left) Ziggy (right) and Toothless (not pictured). I get to work from home a few days a week, which usually means they’re nearby supervising meetings, napping on notebooks, or reminding me to take breaks—one of the perks of remote work I appreciate most.
