Plan your dream holiday

This week, my challenge was to see how far I could push Rise beyond its usual "scrolling article" feel and make it look and behave more like a modern travel website — so I built this little sandbox project.

Plan Your Dream Holiday takes learners on a short, interactive journey:

  • Discover your travel style
  • Build a trip plan based on budget, group, and duration
  • Get a personalised destination match (choices carry across the experience)
  • Test your instincts with a packing challenge
  • Create a travel bucket list and reveal your traveller profile
  • See why it all matters with a before-and-after comparison

It's a playful topic, but the real aim was to explore how a more web-style, app-like experience can make learning feel less like "a course" and more like something you actually want to click through.

Hi! I think you achieved the feel of the modern website, that was much more intuitive and less "scrolly")

How did you achieve the personalization through the choices use makes?

Thanks Anastasia! I used M365 Copilot to build code that would achieve what I had in mind and used the custom code block in the Mighty Plugin to create the interactions.
