-MP4 files not recognize as such by Storyline-
Hi, thank you all for the feedback. Following your advice I trieds converting the MP4 in a few different format to make it work. Saddly that did not do anything, my storyline would not recognize them. I tried a few different video files, but none of them are being accepted by storyline. I was able to Install the software on another work device and the MP4 where not a problem when I was importing them into storyline on this secondary computer. I am looking into uninstaling and re-installing storyline in my main work computer when time permit to see if that solves the issue.

Hello Marc-Antoine,
Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered this unexpected behavior when uploading an MP4 file to your Storyline project. As others have mentioned in this thread, Storyline supports MP4 and WebM files.
- Are you able to insert any videos from a website successfully into your course?
- Do you experience this behavior in a brand new .story file on your first computer?
As a first step, I recommend a repair of Storyline 360. Sometimes, a quick repair will fix some erratic behavior!
Please let us know if you're still encountering this issue with your MP4 files not being recognized in Storyline after the repair. We can continue the conversation in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi Luciana, I apologize for the delays in this conversation. I can only look into this issue in between projects. I have tried repairing Storyline as described, and the issue persists. I did all my updates, both on my machine and with my Storyline. I have tried many new Storyline files with different video files that work elsewhere. I did discover that even grabbing videos from the Storyline banks of videos causes my Storyline file to crash. I'm not sure what to do about this matter at this point. It would be great to be able to use it on my main computer and not have to use a secondary machine to start projects.
