A day's work disappears

I worked all day on updating my elearning 360 module and then, at the end of the day, the module closed abruptly. When reopening, all the work was gone and it had reverted to the version I started the day with.

 

I checked the .tmp files but nothing there, just that beginning of the day version.

 

I do know my computer is running low on space, but I still have about 5 gig left, so I don't know if that might have caused this.

 

Help.
