Adding Space to Timeline in Storyline
Hi- Is there a way to create or add space in a timeline? In Camtasia, you place the playhead where you want to add space, click and hold Shift, then drag the playhead to the right. It just moves the entire timeline to the right to add space.
For example, let's say that I created the slide, added everything in, and then realized that I forgot to add in one interactive element that includes more text and audio. Is there a way to click and drag the timeline to the right so that I can create space. I am just wondering if there is an easier way than highlighting all the elements and then scootching them over manually.
Hi KelleyDurdella- the way you are doing it is the only way to do it (select all elements and drag over). There aren't any shortcut keys to insert a space I'm afraid.
Here's a list of all of the current Storyline shortcut keys.

Thank you. That list is great.

Yes, some really handy time saving shortcuts in there. It's great when they become muscle memory.
