AI Tutor
I noticed the AI tutor today in one new lesson, not any others. AI Assistant isn't enabled on our account, so how could the tutor be active in one lesson? Does AI Assistant work on a user level? We have several licenses, so could one user activate it when creating one lesson?
Hey PhilWade,
Happy to help with this.
Only Articulate 360 Team Admins can control which individual Creators have access to AI Assistant features. However, this is only possible if a subscription has AI Assistant enabled. I can confirm that your subscription doesn't include AI Assistant, so those permission settings wouldn't apply in this case.
Is there a chance you're seeing the AI Assistant button in the Rise 360 authoring interface, rather than the AI Tutor feature itself? The AI Assistant button is visible in Rise even for subscriptions that don't include the AI Assistant add-on. Selecting it only prompts users to start a trial or purchase AI Assistant.
Do you mind sharing a screenshot of what you're seeing? It can help us better understand what you're experiencing on your end.

You're welcome PhilWade! Thanks for following up.
I see what you mean, and that shouldn't be happening. Can you confirm if AI Tutor is functional if you attempt to use it?
Our team has been tracking recent reports of this behavior, and I'd like our support engineers to have a closer look. I've opened a support case on your behalf, and they should be getting in touch with you shortly.
We can continue the conversation through your case.

Yes, it's functional. I opened the exported version of the lesson in our course and am able to ask questions.
