11556 TopicsRISE to create eBook
I am considering using RISE to transform a printed book into an eBook. The RISE course would have 25 Sections and 6-10 lessons within each section. Does anyone have an example of a RISE course of this size, or any experience with the useability of a course with large amounts of content in the left navigation bar? Or performance issues? I started to build a sample (3 sections and 1-2 lessons) to get a feel for what it might be like, but I am wondering if the final product would become unmanageable for the user. Thanks. https://share.articulate.com/CWvdQt0jPRVBZ_5HwXNha95Views0likes4CommentsIs Articulate extremely slow after the latest Windows update?
Hi, Is it just me? Or have other people had serious lag time using Rise and Storyline after the latest Windows updates? Trying to get the preview to play, hitting spacebar, adjusting CC on audio and video files, and even just opening Storyline or Rise is taking really long. I'm trying to figure out if this is an issue with my laptop or a wider issue. Thanks!310Views2likes20CommentsRise: Toggle to make Audio Blocks "Optional" for Continue Buttons
Pls note: I've cross-posted this to the Accessibility discussion group I’m designing a mandatory compliance course in Rise where we need to ensure learners interact with specific elements (like Lists or Accordions) before moving forward. We currently use the Continue Block set to "Complete All Blocks Above" to manage this. (We also set the Navigation mode to Restricted, but we also want learners to complete the interactive elements on each page). We'd like to add Audio Blocks for accessibility to support those who prefer listening. The issue is that the Continue Block treats these audio files as mandatory interactions. This forces every learner to play the audio just to unlock the "Continue" button, even if they have already read the text on the screen. I'm aware of the "workaround" to move the Continue Block around or change it to "Complete Block Directly Above" to isolate the audio, but this is not an ideal solution. It forces me to "chunk" the content into artificial, tiny sections, which disrupts the natural scrolling flow of a Rise lesson and clutters the UI with unnecessary buttons. Suggesting that learners use their own screen readers isn't a feasible solution for us either. In many corporate environments, learners cannot install third-party software, and built-in tools can be inconsistent across different browsers and security settings. We want to provide audio within the course that remains optional. My Request: Could we get a toggle within the Audio Block settings to "Exclude from Completion"? This would allow us to keep the "Complete All Blocks Above" setting for mandatory interactions while letting the audio remain a truly optional feature for those who need it.Feature Request: Toggle to make Audio Blocks "Optional" for Continue Buttons
I’m currently designing a mandatory compliance course where we need to ensure learners interact with specific page elements (like Sorted Lists or Accordions) before they can move forward. Naturally, we use the Continue Block set to "Complete All Blocks Above." However, we 'd like to add Audio Blocks for accessibility. The issue is that the Continue Block treats these audio files as mandatory. I am aware that I can move the Continue Block around or change it to "Complete Block Directly Above" to isolate the audio, but this isn't an ideal solution for us. It requires breaking the content into artificial "chunks" and adding multiple buttons, which disrupts the natural scrolling flow of a Rise lesson and clutters the UI. My Request: Could we get an option within the Audio Block settings to "Exclude from Completion"? This would allow us to keep the "Complete All Blocks Above" setting on our Continue Buttons for the mandatory interactions, while letting the audio remain a truly optional accessibility feature. PS: Suggesting that learners use screen readers isn't a feasible solution for us. In many corporate environments, learners cannot install third-party software, and built-in tools can be inconsistent across different browsers and security settings. We want to provide high-quality, native audio within the course that remains optional.Importing Audio into Scenarios
I am trying to determine how I can import audio files into scenarios, preferably in Rise 360, but would also like to know if it can be done in Storyline 360 . I would prefer it be a 'seamless' flow for the learner, instead of them having to click on another block to launch the audio.Solved502Views2likes58CommentsRise flipping label language and course ownership
Hi, I'm finding that when there are updates to Rise 360, the ownership of courses and the labels can switch. Ownership ends up flipping to my manager (who has an account but doesn't work in Rise), and the labels will revert to English rather than French. I work in Canada, and the French label switching is a big issue as the Province of Quebec has language laws to ensure training is offered in French. This doesn't happen all the time or to all courses, but it does happen regularly in courses that use the old Share option. We've just started using the updated Quick Share so I don't know if there is a similar issue. Has anyone else noticed this? Or am I just going crazy?23Views0likes1CommentLocalization output request
Hello All I'm wondering if anybody could please help me get access to a published file for both Rise and Storyline for testing purposes. Context: I'm knee deep in exploring localization and I'm not 100% sure that the LMS we use will support the output from Articulate. I've seen a few videos but I'm still not sure. This looks incredibly promising, but I need to see it in action. Sadly I'm unable to activate the free trial as our admin is on leave, and I'm really keen to move forward and get answers. What I need: A zip of both a storyline and a Rise output, that contains minimum 2x languages. It can literally be 1 page with a single piece of text. If anybody could help me with this I could be immensely grateful =) Thank you 🤞Changing Data Centre from US to EU
Dear Community/Support Team, I need adivce. My subscription is expiring in a few weeks, and I would like to renew it. However, I need to change my data center from the US to the EU (we are based in the EU, yet for some reason, our account is allocated to the US data center) as I’m experiencing issues sharing files with external partners. Could you please clarify the process for making this change? I was informed that one option is to let the account expire and start a new one, but I’m concerned about what will happen to my Rise files and other content. I’d really appreciate your guidance on the best way to proceed. Thank you in advance for your help.1.2KViews0likes21CommentsAI Voice Availability Differences Between Storyline and Rise – Anyone Else Noticed This?
Hi there, While working with AI voices in Storyline and Rise, I noticed a small inconsistency in the voices available between the two tools. Some voices that appear in Storyline don’t seem to show up in Rise, and vice versa. For example, voices like Jessica — Woman | Young | English | American accent | Dialogue | Cute and Brittney – Social Media Voice – Fun, Youthful & Informative are available in Storyline but don’t appear in Rise (at least in my environment). It’s not necessarily an issue, but it does make it a bit challenging to maintain voice consistency across courses, especially when some modules are built in Storyline and others in Rise. I’ve already raised a support case with Articulate regarding this, but I was curious to check with the community as well. Have you noticed similar differences in AI voice availability between Storyline and Rise? If so, how are you maintaining consistency across projects? Would love to hear your experiences! Thanks!29Views0likes1CommentCan you embed Articulate Storyline on MS SharePoint?
Hi everyone, I would like to ask if it is possible to embed a small set of Articulate Storyline slides (2-3) to create interactivity on SharePoint. In the same/similar way, I can embed Storyline as an interactive block in Arti Rise. In practice, when a user visits your page, i.e., they are able to press the flip card or expand the list. On the articulate technical side, there are layers and states in use. Thank you in advance! Jackie4419Views0likes0Comments
