Animated GIF's vs Animated PNG's - thoughts
If you've used these, you'll discover animated PNGs deliver far better content than their older compatriots animated GIFs, but there is a hit.
In Rise, you can use any image block and put an animated GIF in it but I've yet to find a way to insert an animated PNG. I haven't found a way in Storyline at this time.
Is this possible and if so, how? What are your thoughts and have you used these two formats?

Hi Lawrence,
For me, Rise treats an animated PNG as a static image.

Same here - such a shame!

The animated PNG sequence gives a much better quality performance and a deeper/ rich palette of colors, too.
Are there any plans on the roadmap to include animated PNG's?

Karl, to be brutal there's no mention of this, or am I needing new spectacles?

Try to convent animated APNGs as MP4.

Thanks Jack, however, that then means I can't use an image block to display my apng in the same way I can with a agif. Thank you anyway for the suggestion.

I've had success with animated PNGs by adding _noprocesss_ to the end of the filename.
