Animation for disabled state
Is there a way to add animation to an object in the disabled state in Storyline 360? Ex: I want to have several objects fly in to the slide but don't want them to be clicked on yet, so I have them in...

Hi Carl, It's not possible to add animations directly to a state.
But you can add the animation to an object, and then paste the object into the state and it will animate the state.
fyi: Built-in buttons vs custom buttons:

Thank you, but how do you "paste the object into the state"?

Hi Carl,
Here are the steps (in case someone else wants to do same) and a video.- Place the object on the slide
- Add an animation to the object
- Copy the object - Cntrl + C
- Click on the state you want to add the animated object to, the chosen state will have a highlight around it and the states content will appear on the slide for editing.
- Click Cntrl + V to paste the object into the state
- Make adjustments as need be: position, alignment...
- Choose the initial state to show (e.g. Disable)
- Click Done.
Would a screen recording help? If so I will make and post. In the meantime this video from David Anderson at Articulate may help:
