Articulate 360 - Troubles to import translated Xliff 2.0 with Matecat

Hello Everyone,
I hope you're doing well !
I've been using Matecat for the translations of my courses and it was okay with the xliff 1.2, but the 2.0 seems to not work when I try to import it again in Articulate.

There is an error message that indicates:
"Completed with exceptions the attribute 'xmlns:matecat' is not supported on the Xliff Document element."

Any ideas how to fix that ? Or should I redo the full translation with an xliff 1.2 ?

Thanks in advance !

Thanks for reaching out! I understand you're having difficulty importing your XLIFF files from Matecat into Rise 360.

To test this, I'd like to review your original Rise 360 course and Matecat XLIFF translation files.

Here's how to send a copy of your Rise course:

    1) Go to your Rise 360 dashboard: https://id.articulate.com/redirect/rise
    2) Hover over your course and click the ellipsis (…) that appears, then select "Send a copy."

You can share your files in this thread or privately in a support case

Looking forward to hearing from you!

  • Hello LucianaPiazza ,
Thank you for your answer. I realize I didn't give enough informations.

Unfortunately, I cannot share the original course or a copy. But what I can correct one point. It's not a Rise 360 course but a Storyline360 course. I managed to do the export/import of the .xlf file with the 1.2 but the 2.0 had some errors.

For now I'll use the 1.2, but I was wondering if the 2.0 had some troubles right now or if I was the only one.

    Thanks !

      Hello FranoisLarrey-5

Thanks for following up! I appreciate you sharing more details about where you are creating this course and what you've tried so far.

We haven't had any reports of issues with 2.0, which makes me think it possibly could be isolated to your Matecat .xlf files. Feel free to share your files privately if you run into this in the future. We can sign an NDA if needed.

Have a great start to your day!
