Hi Megan -- I'm looking here (3 years after your initial post) to see if you in fact did pursue Oracle? I'm a bit forced to look at Oracle LMS since it's our new HRIS system. Like you, I'm currently viewing mostly 'cons' if we transition from our current LMS to Oracle LMS.
Hi, yes we did pursue Oracle. There are benefits having an all-in-one system, but with that comes some limitations. As a standalone LMS there are many better ones out there, but as a all-in-one, it gets the job done. There are frustrating parts to Oracle HCM and a lot of complexity with the setup. I think they are starting to do a better job with the Redwood enhancements. That being said, it could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your organization requirements and needs. Good luck!

Thank you, Megan! It's a little nerve-wracking thinking ahead to exporting data from our current and starting up new! We did hear we need in-house expertise for manual workarounds because of questionable lack of support on start up, or pulling different types of compliance reports, etc. (but that could just be old feedback). I truly appreciate your feedback!
