Automatic updating of interactive elements

We deliver various courses on behalf of customers and usually make them available in our own LMS (outside of Articulate). Some interactive elements created with Storyline are integrated into several modules.
 
When revising such exercises, it is extremely difficult to update all modules manually. In addition, you also need to know in which modules and courses this interactivity is used. This is a very tedious process for us.

Is there a way to automate this? In Storyline -> new version of an existing file -> auto update if this exact file has been used in all affected modules.
Then you would still need to know which modules it is in, but it would still save a lot of work. A list such as “interactivity is integrated in these modules” would be the absolute best solution.

Is there a solution for this? How do you deal with it? I don't think we're the only ones facing this challenge.
