Automatically adjusting timeline on layer also adjusts timeline on base layer
Hi, AndreaDamewood!
Thanks so much for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I ran a quick test on my end, and I found the timeline on the base layer isn't changing even after I set the timeline to the longest object on another layer.
Can you please confirm you're using the most up-to-date version of Storyline? If you're comfortable sharing your file with our team, we'd be happy to take a closer look to see what's happening! You can upload that here or privately in a support case, and we'll delete it from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.
I am having the same issue using release V3.116.36838.0

Hi BarryHollembeak,
Thanks for following up!
I tested this out using Storyline 360, build 3.117.36909.0, and was able to replicate this issue. It appears this bug was previously marked as resolved, but has been reopened. I've added your name to the report so we can notify you as soon as we have news to share. Although not ideal, a workaround is to manually adjust the timeline instead of using the "Fit timeline to longest object" option.
Please let us know if you have any questions!
