background remover for graphics NOT pictures
Wondering how to cleanup graphics after using the "set transparent color" option in Powerpoint and/or the background remover tool. Neither of these creates a clean image, leaving white bits throughout the graphic which clearly show when placed on a dark background. Can someone please recommend a tool that can remove the unwanted bits. I used to use Paint 3d, but it's no longer available and the older version I have will not save as a clear background even when choosing a .png format. Ugh. I tried the window's edit and I tried the photo editor. Nothing is allowing me to cleanup the 2D graphic images. Any help MOST appreciated. THANK YOU!

Also look at Krita. Great for manually removing backgrounds and cleanup. Save as transparent PNG, amongst others.
