Black screen displaying on videos in Rise 360

I exported a sequence from Storyline as a video. Then I put this into Rise. The first time, no problems, the image appeared. The second time black and it won't go away.
There are no black frames, sound or transitions on the first slide. Yes, editing a snip off the front the video for some reason overcomes this, but the video then is unusable as the quality is so low (saving and then resaving mp4 is lossy). The question is, why is it SOMETIMES black for no reason and how can I overcome this or Storyline fix the glitch QUICKLY?
