Blurry thumb slider
Hello Alex!
So sorry for the hold this is causing in your project! We do have this logged as a software bug where slider thumb pictures are blurry in HTML output. It's not currently being worked on since we've prioritized other bug fixes for upcoming releases. However, I'll reach out to our team to see if we have an update on this bug. I'll keep you updated in this discussion.

Is there a resolution to this yet?

Hi Lauren-Franza!
Thanks for checking in on this!
Our team shipped a fix for this bug in an earlier version of Storyline 360. When testing a Slider with a custom thumb image published to the Web, I did not observe any blurriness during playback.
No worries. I'm happy to help troubleshoot and have some follow-up questions to start:
- Does the blurriness occur across all images used for custom slider thumbs, or just one specifically?
- Does your slider thumb appear blurry when previewing the course, or after publishing to Review 360?
- Have you tried performing a repair of your Storyline installation to see if that improves the issue?
If you're comfortable sharing the files you've been working with, we'd love to test them on our end. Feel free to upload those items here in the discussion or privately in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Just put in a ticket, but I'd like to answer here as well for anyone who has a similar issue.
- Does the blurriness occur across all images used for custom slider thumbs, or just one specifically? All sliders, but the largest slider is the worst. It gets better if I make the slider shorter than the actual height of the image I uploaded. For example, 3807x700 appears blurry when the slider is set to height of 700.
- Does your slider thumb appear blurry when previewing the course, or after publishing to Review 360? Both
- Have you tried performing a repair of your Storyline installation to see if that improves the issue? Not yet, but my version is up-to-date. I will see what support says as well to see if it's user error or if I need a repair.
