Button state not changing with variable

At the end of my comment, I reference slide 2 as "Slide to." Please take this as a side effect of my frustration rather than a total ineptitude in the language. I like to think my ineptitude is only partial.

Thanks for the additional information. You don't have to upload the entire project, just a smaller version containing just a slide where the problem can be observed will do. You can share the course here or privately by opening a case with our support team. Once we have a copy of your course, it will be easier for us to identify why your buttons are not changing states as expected.
