Buttons not showing in Storyline 'preview' mode or when exported to SCORM

Hi,

I'm having issues with seeing a button I've put on top of an imported video in Storyline360.

The steps I've done are

  1. Insert > Video > from file
  2. The video is around 16 mins long with someone talking over a no. of PPT slides, and the last 30 seconds has a slide about a Quiz
  3. I put in a button saying 'click here for the quiz', with a trigger saying 'open URL when the user clicks button1'
  4. I put in this button from 15:30 - 16:00 on the timeline.
  5. I also made sure the button was 'bring to front' and the video was 'send to back'
  6. I also published this and exported it to SCORM and uploaded it to our LMS - but the button still didn't show, as it didn't in 'preview' mode in storyline.
  7. I've also tried this with a text box / hotspot instead of a button but same issue occurs.

Please could you help resolve this?

    Hello ChrisAleppo​,

    Thanks for the detailed description, and sorry for the trouble. I tested with the attached Storyline file, and the button displays as expected when it is placed above the Video from File object and set to appear a few seconds into the timeline.
