Can I create question pool in Rise 360?

I would like to setup a quiz with a question pool say randomly get 10 out of 50 questions from the pool each time.

And could I also add a setting that if participants failed 2 times, they need to restart the learning materials from the beginning rather than just retake the quiz?

  • Hi Meow Meow! It sounds like you would benefit from a question bank feature in Rise. While Rise doesn't offer a feature like that right now, I can also add you to a feature request for it. We'll update this thread once we make changes that will help!

  • Announcing the beta of question banks in Rise 360! Create randomized quizzes by drawing from a bank of prepared questions.

You have the flexibility to use question banks for knowledge check blocks or quizzes—giving you options for how and when you want to check or test a learner’s knowledge. And if you’re an Articulate 360 Teams subscriber, you can easily share question bank folders with other team members to ensure consistency across your organization’s courses.

Find out more about creating, managing, and using question banks in our Rise 360 User Guide. Enjoy!

Meow Meow, you can set your quiz attempts to 2, and then the course is considered failed and/or incomplete. Your LMS settings will determine whether you can allow your learner to retake the course after that status. Hope that helps!

  • I know this is an old topic but I can't seem to figure out how to make a quiz of 12 questions that can pull from a question bank of 36. I'm very clear on how to create the question bank; also clear on how to assign the question bank to my knowledge check block. But I don't need 36 questions in my quiz and I want the quizzes to be randomized in cycles of 12. Can anyone help?

When you insert your Question Bank Draw, use the drop-down menu to change to Random Questions. That will allow you to choose 12 as the number of random questions that must be drawn.
