Can't replace same images from renamed project folder

Ok, I think I am on my own on this, I still hope there's an alternative, because I find it really odd Storyline just refuses to forget the previous directory when I try to replace with the same image and audio, just now the main project folders name is renamed. Any advice or thoughts still appreciated.
