I've checked, and I know I have captions on all my layers, but when I test the slide and layers in the preview mode, only some layers' captions are visible when I check the captions button. Should I be worried?

'captions' do you mean CC for audio or something else?

So sorry I didn't see this. I actually figured it out. I needed to select "add captions" using the audio tab.
