If we could see how you set up the menu in your Slide Master, it would be much easier for the community to make design recommendations. Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or privately by opening a support case so we can check how everything is built? We'll delete it when we're done testing!
Im afraid I cant share the content due to customer rules.
I did a wokaround but will try it againin another project and can share that when the time come
