Changing text color on system buttons
Hi LMSEpilepsy and everyone,
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360. This update adds the following feature:
- Use the Bullet Style options in the text formatting toolbar to modify the size and color of bullets and numbers in lists.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update!

I think that is great, but please focus on the original post: Changing text color on system buttons. I've tried noodling with the CSS code and keeps reverting back. Having black text on a customized dark blue button is not an ADA compliant format. Having customization abilities from the selected templates would be a great enhancement.

Hi RossSherman,
Thanks for bringing the conversation back to this. I can see how important it is to have control over system button text color, especially when you’re working with custom themes and accessibility requirements.
I also recognize that this has been raised by the community over time, and I understand how frustrating it can be when you’re trying to meet contrast and ADA compliance standards without having that level of control.
While we’ve introduced improvements like automatic contrast adjustments to help with readability, I understand that these don’t fully address use cases where specific text colors are needed for branding or accessibility.
I’ve shared your feedback with our product team so they can continue evaluating ways to provide more flexibility in styling system buttons, including text color customization.
