changing the down state of button

I was having the same issue Jesse! 

(I have attached a file so everyone can see what I mean)

I can't seem to change the default border colour for my button.

As you can see, the default border colour is white:

However, if I attempt to change the border colour, it simply adds an additional border on top of the white one provided:

The way I worked around this (for anyone else who has the same issue is):

• Delete the default "Down" state
• Duplicate the "Disabled" state and make it the new Down state
  • 
• Add a an outline with the colour and thickness of your choice

Voila! Only one border colour :) 

I would think there would be a quicker way, (though this is not a massive pain in terms of editing the button)
