Changing the temp and output folders location

In Storyline 360, some file paths are fixed. The default output location (C:\Users\[YourUsername]\Documents\My Articulate Projects) can be changed when you publish, but it resets each time. Auto recovery files save to C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\Articulate\Storyline, and temp files for Review 360 publishing go to your system’s default temp folder, typically on the C: drive. Unfortunately, none of these paths can be changed.
That design helps ensure reliability and consistent performance. Storyline relies on standard Windows directories to avoid issues that can come from using external or network drives, especially for autosave and publishing processes.
We understand why you'd want to use your secondary SSD. That’s a smart move for performance. I’ve shared this feedback with our product team as a feature request. If there’s anything else you’d like us to consider, let us know!
