Click Try Simulation and Previous and Next buttons
Hi,
I can't seem to find a discussion on this.
I have numerous click try simulations within a course. I don't normally use previous and back buttons within simulations but my SME has asked if we can. I'm not sure the implications on having them as I assume they would/may interfere with the screen recordings and the 'click try' that we want.
Should I use them? Not? Implications? Thoughts?

I just recently did some try-it simulations that included the Prev button as an option. The only thing I had to do was to set all of the simulation slides to reset to initial state when revisiting.

Question - within the try it sims I have instances where the learner has to type into a field and hit enter. If I do the reset to original state is there any thing I need to be aware of in these situations/sims? I just want to make sure that if I reset all the slides (9 sims) that it won't mess up anything else?

Good question, and yes, you'll want to make sure the text entry variable is cleared out on each of those screens:
When the timeline starts on this slide
- Set TextEntry1 to value (blank)
