Next, Previous, and Submit buttons are symbols and not text.
Hi E-Learning Heroes:
I'm not sure why but my player does not feature the text versions of the Next, Previous, and Submit buttons. Please see the screenshots below:
I've tried adjusting the player and using Player Text Labels, but it has not worked. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for the assistance!
Have you looked under Color & Effects (Navigation buttons) in the Player Properties? You should be able to select Icon and Text, Icon, or Text from the drop-down menu.

Hi Nedim:
Thank you for your response. This looks like the solution. Out of curiosity, is this something that you knew through experience, or was there a resource you accessed for this solution? I thought I did a pretty thorough search and would have never looked at that tab for this. Thanks again!

eric_at_bb Yes, I learned it a long time ago when I was first starting to create my first Storyline template. It involved a lot of exploring and clicking around to figure different things out. Although I must say, the "Colors & Effects" tab was not the first place I'd click when searching for navigation buttons, but once you find it, you just get used to it. Whenever in doubt, check everything that Judy writes or posts for a better understanding of Storyline and for helpful resources, including a tip in her response to you. Thank you JudyNollet for jumping in!

eric_at_bb: FYI, the User Guide is a great resource for info about how Storyline works. Most of the articles listed the main TOC link to additional info, so if you don't see exactly what you're looking for, go to related articles.
The Colors & Text info is in this article about the Player.
