Comparing modules

perhaps publish to word and do a compare?

for text you might find a solution, but for timing, animations, videos, images, trigger, ... it will be difficult

For comparing text, I'd use the Translation > Export to Word function.

With that, you'll get a Word file with readable/editable text. Then, as Wendy suggested, use Word's "compare" function to locate any differences. 

• Note: When you Publish to Word, you only get screenshots. Word can't compare those. 

As Jürgen said, there's no way to easily locate changes to animations, triggers, layouts, etc. 

Thanks all for your suggestions. I ended up using one Word version and one Storyline module to compare.
