Condensed Font looks good when building but is squished when previewing

I'm trying to use Bahnschrift Light Condensed font. It looks sooooo good when I'm developing but as soon as I preview, the text is all squished/overlapping.

I appreciate you testing the modern text feature, and you're right.
When using any of the Bahnschrift Light font styles, the version seen during edit looks different than the one during preview—even after enabling or disabling modern text.
