Content width for all blocks
Hi all,
I love being able to change the content width of my text blocks - this looks great. Will the other blocks be updated to be able to do the same any time soon? For example, Accordion or Tab blocks. Using these under a text block that has been made wider looks a bit weird, now.

Is there a way to make the Accordion, Tabs or Process blocks wider?

2+ years no fix nor update on this! Why can't I make text columns wider? Paragraph with heading, You want it wider no issue! But text columns remain. Articulate is hopelessly inconsistent with this feature. Please please fix. Multiple years with no fix to a minor interface update is very typical for Articulate. Check back in 7+ I am sure it will be the same!
Hello KaneB,
I appreciate you sharing your voice with us! We don't have any updates to share at this time. I understand that having more control over the content width could improve your authoring experience in Rise 360 blocks. I've shared your insight with our product team.
We'll be sure to share future updates in this thread so all are in the loop!

Hello Luciana.
Yes, it would be nice to widen the text blocks to another level beyond Large, say XL. We use Storyline blocks at 1170 wide and display them in Rise at Medium size. Currently, the Rise text blocks above this do not extend as far as the Storyline block. It would be great, for the sake of aesthetics, if they did.
It would also be nice if the Tabs and Accordions could be presented in a wider fashion.
Thanks and best regards
Alex

Hi Articulate 360 is there any update on this? Will we be able to change the width of all Rise blocks?
Hello HeidiWoodruff,
Thanks for checking in! We don't have any updates to share, but we understand that having more control over block width across all blocks would make building in Rise even more flexible for your workflow. I've shared your insight with our product team. We'll share future updates in this thread so everyone is in the loop!

Hello Luciana.
Thanks for looking into this.
Just occurred to me that we can use the new Custom blocks in Rise to add a text block of any size we want. If the Storyline block is 1170 wide, we can make the text block the same size.Problem solved.

A new issue you might encounter: fonts. I did a screen recording showing how to add a Google font to your Custom Code block. The fonts you've specified via Theme settings are not inherited in the Custom Code block, but luckily all (or most?) fonts in Rise are available on Google fonts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgj6og-Tumo
