Controlling the continue button in Rise 360 - Embedded Link/Video
Hi! I'm working on some in house training modules that will contain numerous (over 200) embedded video links that will take the user to our inhouse 'YouTube' channel so they can view the videos in a secure environment. With MP4 videos I usually set the continue button to activate after the above block is done; however, with embedded linked videos this isn't working. Is there a way to set the continue button to not be available until after the video is complete? Also, is there a way to turn off the 'scroll through the video', or scrub, option within the player of the embedded video?
Thanks!!

Hi Michelle,
A CONTINUE block cannot be used to determine if a YT video has been watched as this happens outside of Rise.
For a Multimedia / Video block, you can turn off Allow Forward Seeking under the Settings for that block.

If there would be a way to even just force learners to start the video before the Continue button becomes available that would be helpful. We have several courses with multiple videos and loading them all into the course package is not a good option. We would still like to have some mechanism to show that they have at least started the video.

This seems simple but I have no settings for my blocks? Where have they gone?
