Corrupt Storyline File

Bit of a weird one but is there anyway a wiFi extender can cause a Storyline file to become corrupt? A file I was working on at home became corrupted so I have had to remake it and now that o...
I think for some reason my laptop chops and changes whether to connect to my wifi and my extender. I think this is also why my VPN disconnects all the time!
