Courses Direct Links not Enrolling Properly
Hi, my issue is that whenever I send a learner a direct course link to enroll and take the course, it does the following:
- Enrolls them properly (says "Self-Enrolled" on my end)
- Link takes them directly to the course after they enroll
- Here is the issue: the course does not show up on their assigned courses and unless they finish it in one sitting, it dissappears
Am I missing a step or something?
Thanks for any help.

Hi EpicEdward!
Happy to share some insight on this!
When learners access a Reach 360 course through a direct enrollment link, they’re correctly enrolled as “Self-Enrolled” and can take the course right away. However, since that link creates a one-time enrollment that isn’t tied to a managed course assignment or group, the course won’t appear under 'Assigned Courses' in their dashboard. Also, if they don't complete the training in one sitting, it will no longer be visible when they return.
To ensure learners can revisit and track their progress, we recommend assigning the course directly in Reach 360 or enabling self-registration. This way, learners are tied to your account and can access all Assigned, or Library courses from their dashboard. Direct links are best suited for quick, one-time access, while course assignments and self-registration provide more persistent access and progress tracking.
Let me know how it goes!
