Creating Hyperlinks for a Video

Hi. We have a single video for which we'd like to create hyperlinks for each subject within the video. Does anyone know a way to do this. So far, it seems like this isn't doable. Thanks for any help.

    I've used hyperlink objects on the SL timeline at cue points to display hyperlinks for short intervals. The design works reasonably well to mimic context-sensitive links during playback
