Cue points out of sync in published course
I have a course with video on the base layer, and cue points added to the timeline. When the timeline reaches each cue point it displays a question on a layer, then based on person's choice jumps to an answer layer. When the person has finished with the answer layer they close it, it hides the layer and resumes the base slide video. The layers are set up to pause timeline of base layer. This is all working perfectly in 360 preview. When I publish to Review, the layers are not appearing when the cue points should be triggering them. They are out by by several seconds in some cases. I have had a look and seen that this was a problem many years ago but not found any resolution and those threads are mostly all closed. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Hi Stacey,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Quick question for you. Are you seeing the same issues when you publish the course to web?
I'd be happy to take a closer look at your setup! Feel free to share your .story file in this thread or privately in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you! ✨

If it is a video it maybe that the video is progressively downloading and is out of sync

Because we have limited space on our LMS, I use Handbrake to optimise for web and compress on the Fast preset so my videos are much smaller before inserting which I thought would also help with the download speed. Is there anything else you know of that I could try to work around the progressive download? Have I potentially over compressed?
