Looks like this conversation is a bit dated and honestly, bezier curves is something I'm not familiar with.
Are either of you using Storyline 360? With the new pixel-perfect precision, I was able to create something similar to what (I think) you are looking for:
Looks great but this is with SL3 (should be the same if i am correct ?)
