Customise style of drop down graded question
Hi I'm building a quiz in storyline and I'm trying to avoid using drag and drop questions, for accessibility reasons. And I want to replace them with the drop down question style. However, the rounded edge box and white background of the options is starkly different from the rest of the quiz look and feel. I cannot seem to edit the format of the boxes. Am I missing something?

Jo,
I know this doesn't answer your question, but in case you didn't know and would rather build a drag-and-drop interaction, there is a way to do it as an accessible interaction.

This is really useful and I'll definitely give this a go. It will still be good to be able to customise a drop down though 😏

I'm now wondering if the drop down interaction is even accessible because when I tried setting the focus order I'm not sure how the tabbing will work!
Hello JoCousins-4f348,
Happy to help! I ran some tests and confirmed that if the dropdown object is included in the focus order, it should be accessible when tabbing through the content.
I was able to navigate through the dropdown using Tab, select options with Enter or Spacebar, and cycle through choices with the Up and Down arrow keys. I attached a copy of my Storyline test file.
If your experience is different and repairing Storyline doesn’t resolve the issue, please feel free to let me know. I’d be glad to take a closer look. A screen recording or screenshot would be especially helpful.

Hi thank you so much for testing this. Of course this means that being able to customise it is even more important :(
