Datatables in Rise 360
I use Rise 360 to create a quarterly review of our Learning Management System (http://onwijsonderwijs.nl/nhg/kwartaalrapportage/q2/#/).
In this review I always include an overview of our e-learning and its usage. Because this is a large overview the regular table function isn't working for me. I solved this by using the code snippet function and created an ASCII table
I would love to be able to use a function similar to the one the script Datatables.net (https://datatables.net/) offers. Would it be possible to add this as a feature tot Rise 360 to present large tables in a user friendly fashion.
Or does anyone have an idea how I could include this in a rise 360 course (without using an Iframe)?
Kind regards,
Jeroen

Use the code snippet function to create an HTML table, or use the accordion block to create a collapsible table. Also, try using the tabs block to create a table with multiple tabs.
This is a really creative use for the code snippet block, Jeroen!
The embed block uses iframes to bring web content and its respective formatting into a Rise 360 lesson, which you mentioned is something you're looking to avoid.
Is the table something you could build into a Storyline 360 slide? If so, bring the Storyline 360 output into your Rise 360 lesson using the Storyline block. Storyline blocks also use an iframe in Rise 360 courses. If the issue with iframes is due to the inability to access your table from another tool, Storyline content is embedded directly into the Rise 360 course output.
I'll defer to the community of designers for more ideas!
