Disable slide navigation buttons but keeping the menu

The menu and navigation are controlled by different settings. You can hide Prev and Next button by selecting all the slides and unchecked them from slide properties in STORY VIEW.
Is there a way that even when Prev and Next button are checked that they are hidden in the player?
I am asking this because the template will be used by different e-learning developers. Everytime they add a new slide in their project and apply the template to it, the Prev and Next button are automatically checked. So if they forget to manually uncheck then their e-learnings will have the Prev and Next button visible in the player and we do not want that as we use our own custom navigation buttons.
