Does Articulate support H.264 video format?

I have zoom recordings which I need to upload into Articulate however because I am needing to run them through Clipchamp first to trim them it is removing the compression and making the file size increase from around 750MB to over 5GB which is too large for Articulate. I'm looking at alternative software to trim the video without removing the compression but not having much luck. There's a program which converts the video from MP4 to H.264 but I need to know if Articulate will support a H.264 file? Or if anyone is having a similar issue and has a work around?
