Drag and drop jumping to next slide instead of displaying feedback layers
Hi all
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but when I preview the drag and drop interaction in my Storyline file, it's automatically jumping to the next slide when I click Submit (after dragging all the objects into place).
When you click Submit, it should either display the correct or the incorrect feedback layers - but it's just jumping forward instead.
I've attached my Storyline file - could anyone advise what I'm doing wrong?
thanks so much for any help provided!
You set the question options to have no Feedback (and no Points).

I can't look at the file at this time, but perhaps I can help anyway.
The Submit trigger actually performs multiple actions
- It always scores the questions.
- If the question provides immediate feedback, it shows the Correct or Incorrect layer. If not, it jumps to the next slide.
Your Submit trigger is jumping to the next slide. That means it doesn't recognize that it is supposed to show feedback.
Did you rename the Correct and Incorrect layers? If so, restore the default names.
If that's not the problem, it's possible that something happened that broke the connection to the feedback. If so, try this:
- In QUESTION TOOLS > DESIGN, switch Feedback to "None." This makes the layers disappear.
- Then switch Feedback to "By Question" again. This creates new Correct and Incorrect layers, and the program should show those when Submit is clicked.

Fantastic - thank you both so much for your help and for explaining this to me - I've always been a bit confused about the way the Submit button works on drag and drops. I've fixed it up and it appears to be working now - massive thanks :-)
