Drag-and-drop slides

Hi,

I'm experiencing a recurring problem in Storyline 360 since the update on 06/16/2026. The drag-and-drop slides aren’t working properly: objects can be moved freely, but they don’t return to their original position when dropped in the wrong place.

I’ve checked the interaction settings (return options, behaviors, triggers), and the problem also appears in a new blank project. Additionally, I’ve noticed unusual behavior: a player trigger called “Next” is automatically added on some slides without any action on my part. This messes up the interaction logic.

I’ve already tried restarting the software and testing new files, but the problem persists.

Can you help me identify the cause of this issue or suggest a solution (known bug, version to fix, or repair procedure)?
