Dropdown Accessibility

Hello! I'm working on making a slide accessible. The premise is that learners select a role's primary responsibility from a dropdown list of options. After each selection, I have an icon indicate whether the response was correct or incorrect. However, when I try to make the slide accessible, I'm getting inconsistent results for the screen reader indicating if the response was correct or incorrect. It works about 75% of the time. However, the other 25% of the time the focus seems to go to another button on the slide before stating if the object was correct or incorrect. Each layer is set up the same way, so I'm not sure why the focus isn't going to the correct/try again variable as it should be. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Hi DebraLammers,

Thanks for reaching out about the dropdown focus in your project! I see you've also contacted our support team and shared your Storyline course with Woojin. Thank you for doing that.

Let's continue the conversation in your support case to keep all the information in one place, but I'm happy to assist further as needed.
