E-Learning but not E-Learning

Hello, not sure who else to ask so why not ask a community that is clued up...all of our learning is hosted on an LMS (maybe the same for you), however my boss wants a way to host learning so that contractors and non employees can access it without having to go through our LMS (its a very strict company with Pentagon style security...not the Pentagon though)...my idea was to get a cheap website built and do it that...my question is; is that the right way and does anyone else do anything similar or have any other ideas?

Appreciate this isn't strictly course building.

  • 2 ways...either indeed publish to HTML and add it to any website/server you have access too. However this will lack progress/resume behaviour and scores.

Other solution is a LMS that has the option to give access to courses to guests and non-registered users. TalentLMS offers that as does Wordpress. We use Wordpress to host courses that need to be accessibile to anyone.
