Earlier version of Storyline

Good day,

I need to make some updates to a course that was developed using an old version of Storyline (pre-360, I think). I cannot find any information on this topic.

Has anyone had experience with this?

Thank you in advance.

Anne.

  • Storyline 360 can open any .story file created by an earlier version of Storyline. (Caveat: Unless the original file is corrupted.)

If you don't have the .story file (that is, you only have the published SCORM package), you'll have to re-create the course in a new Storyline project. You might be able to pull some of the assets from the published package.

Echoing Judy's comments. Also, expect to see that "this file will be updated..." types of messages, and don't be surprised if there are missing (and therefore substituted) fonts.

You can either open the file directly (file/open) or import it into a file (within an open story). Both methods work equally well.
