If you open a Closed Caption file, you'll see a lot of timestamps in the file that represent the exact time when a caption will appear on screen. Trimming a video file will most likely cause issues with the timing of the Closed Caption file, and there's no easy or quick way to fix it. If you've made modifications to your project file, you may need to generate a new set of captions for your videos that will go along with the new duration of the video.
