If your learners see a blank page whenever you upload a new version of your course, you'll need to toggle the Reset Learner Progress option in the publishing settings to correct the behavior. Note that with this option enabled, anyone who is in the middle of taking your course will have their progress reset when the new version is uploaded, so it's best to schedule the uploading of new versions ideally when no one is taking your course.
