Editing paragraphs around a table element

Agreed. Tables are terribly buggy. Here's my work around for the space above issue:
- Enter a bolded title for the table in the annoying blank space above the table.
- Call it a day.

When I started using Rise, I quickly learned to put tables in their own block. If you do this, you will avoid the problems described above.
I either create a Table block from the Library, or use a text block, and first delete all default text before creating a Quick Insert table.
