Editing SVG files in Storyline

Thanks for the feedback! All of that makes complete sense, but I was trying to shortcut the step of updating the image in Media Library. The first article I linked to says that you should see the updates you made in Illustrator immediately updated in your Storyline file, but that's where Storyline keeps crashing on me. So anyway, if what I am trying to do isn't possible, it's not a big deal, jut want to make sure I am not messing something up myself.
